PAT Testing for Commercial Workplaces
What PAT testing covers
We inspect accessible portable appliances in workplaces and carry out appropriate tests for the equipment and its condition. We agree the item count, access and working arrangements in advance so testing can fit around your operations.
Process and results
Each accessible item is considered through visual inspection and suitable electrical testing. Results are recorded in an asset register, and failed items are explained clearly so you can decide whether to remove, repair or replace them. Repairs, parts and return visits are quoted separately.
How often is PAT testing needed?
The right frequency depends on the equipment, how it is used, the environment and previous results. Annual PAT testing is not universally required by law. We can discuss a proportionate approach for your premises and equipment list.
Indicative PAT testing prices — NO VAT
£95 for up to 50 standard accessible items at one site. Additional items are £1.50 each. The asset register and results are included. A written quotation or agreed work order confirms scope and final price. Materials, repairs, disposal and specialist access are agreed separately where needed.
